nevermind. intel isnt 'built for games', but that doesnt mean theyll melt if you try to play one. just go for something with ddr...just because you saw something cheap for 80 bucks doesnt mean thats what you go with...otherwise the world would be a ot richer. remember, you get what you pay for.

also isnt ddr going to be going out of the computer bussiness in 07' my friend says ddr2 is the future and ddr is going to dissapear.

ok, but theoretically, the future doesnt exist. only right now, this very moment in time as you read these words, does time exist.

...but anyway, GET AN AMD WITH DDR.

Right now AMD doesnt support DDR2, only DDR. Intel supports DDR2 though. But when AM2 comes out, it will support DDR2.
