Do you know the name of your motherboard?

The general way with a pheonix bios would be to go to Advanced Chipset features then find Memory Frequency and set it to 200MHz (might say 400)

Thats the mobo
Foxconn 865G7MF-SH LGA 775 Intel 865G Micro ATX Intel Motherboard

does it use pheonix bios?

thanks

That's what CPUz says it's using. I was looking for an 8657 on the foxconn site, figures I couldn't find it. It should be the same though.

This is weird. I can't seems to find the 200MHz or 400MHz Frequency in the Bios. All it has is DDR266 and DDR333 and Auto. It is on auto at the moment.

Shoud i upgrade the BIOs?

thanks

and what is this?

AGP Aperture Size (MB) 128 <-- is that the video card Memory? It was on 128. Will it perform better if I set it to 256?

AGP aperature is the amount of system RAM your video card can allocate if needed. It doesn't work if the board is using the onboard video.

You can try a BIOS update, the board is supposed to support DDR333/400.

here is a picture of the RAM setting page. Is there something i need to enable before i can set the RAM to 200/400?

thanks
