ddr2 800 in ddr2 667

nobody? i thought this was one of those fatefully obvious things I would be laughed at for not knowing.
 
its important for me to get this tonight or else i wont be able to order for 5 days. so it was an important bump.
 
thanks. im a little bummed my mem will be clocked back but if it means i can afford an E6400 hey whatever.
 
yeah im building a computer for my grandma so this is a situation where i can get almost the retail price for my parts by putting them in her computer so i can upgrade to the new cpu for less money than it would otherwise cost.
 
What motherboard are you getting? Any board that supports conroe should support DDR2 800.
 
yeah after all that it turns out im getting a different board that does support ddr2 800. the one that didnt i believe was an ASrock conroeX or something like that.

but if the computer is for your grandma you dont need all this gaming stuff

grandmas are slow and can work with a P 3
 
I don't know why its hard for you to understand its mostly correct grammatically, mostly. I am putting my old CPU and Mobo in this computer I am building for my grandma and buying a new CPU and Mobo to take their place.
