DDR2-800 Memory Running At 400mhz?

Hey guys, i just relized that my RAM is running at 400 mhz from CPU Z. i have Cosair XMS2 DDR2 800 (pc2 6400) 2 x 1gb sticks shouldnt it be running at 800mhz?

but what would happen if i brought it up to 800mhz like it says? and i'v been having a lot of crashes latly all ending up with KernalFaultCheck or Memory Dump iv done a clean install of XP it was fine for a while but its back. Have any idea?

alrite i think i found the memory stick that is defective i took it out and i havnt crashed since, then when i had both sticks i would crash about 10 mins into game play

You couldnt do it and have it stable.

DDR2-800 runs at 400Mhz. It's double data rate so the speed is doubled to get the effective speed.

i know i relized that now =] but i found the stick that was defective
