ddr2 PC2 8500

Its got a AM2 board in it, so DDR2 800 is the highest it supports. It says DDR2 667 but it will probable read up to 800.

That computer only supports 1gb sticks with total memory allowed of 4gb since you have 4 slots.

Is there any way to check before i buy? becuase probably isnt really worth $40.

Kinda like this. Its a AM2 board. On AM2 processors the memory controller is on the processor and AM2 supports up to DDR2 800. The only reason it would not is, for some reason they killed 800 support through the bios, not to let it recognize it. Dont know why they would do that though.
