Most motherboards only support up to DDR2-667 right now, so getting DDR2-900 will only help if you OC very high.Arm_Pit said:What about this?

I wanted a 1GB stick, and not 2x512 so i could upgrade to 2GB esaier, but I will keep it in cosideration if it is OK incase i geta a mobo with 4 ram slots. It is slightly cheaper, and it is DDR2 900(PC2 7200)!

I got my DDR2-800 down to around 4-4-4-12, which is low considering that the speed is double that of DDR-400. If you purchase higher quality ram, you may be able to lower the timings to something like 4-3-3-10.fruscai said:how tight do you think the timings could be set on ddr2 800? i've been checking around and many reviews say that higher Hz + high CL turns out low performance, but if you overclock, would it be better to go for tight timings and low Hz or loose timings and high Hz?
