$34 bucks for 2 GB of ram after rebates seem like a steal.

Pulling up the specs for the mother board it says it uses DDR2 1066

When I go the the memory you look at essentials,,it show this motherboard in the bottom corner.

Any help would be appreciated.

The Corsiar memory will work while being a little slower being DDR2 800 PC2-6400 memory then the full 1066 speed supported. Last August that same memory would have been seen for about $135 at newegg.

Got any recommendations on a intel processor to match this set up?Looking to spend under $150 on the processor.

BTW this 2gb of memory was only $29 bucks after a $40 mail in rebate.

Looks like I am getting a new Mother board and processor in the near future now that I have the ram.

DDR2 will start to see lower prices now that the newer DDR3 boards are on the way if not already out. Corsair is a good brand regardless. If you could cash in on a combo along with the special there you would all set!

I did not see the processor I was looking for on the combo or I likely would have.

When ordering the cpu here I would have gone for the AMD 6400+ X2 but those went fast leaving the 6000+ X2 as the next available. That's alright however since one old build saw 3 different cpus used there as well as three different video cards. Two of each are still in use even now.
