Ddr3?

How much are you looking to spend on memory?

Also, if you are doing a new build, what all are you planning on getting?

Generally speaking, yes, any DDR3 memory will work. What memory have you been looking at buying? Generally corsair is a bit overpriced for what you get.

well i'm doig comparison shopping right now, and I'me looking at http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820226063&cm_re=DDR3-_-20-226-063-_-Product and http://www.frys.com/product/5982474. More that what i said i'd spend but a deal is a deal ya know? I'd also be satisfied with this http://www.frys.com/product/5982474. But i'm most likely going to pay an added 30 bucks for overnight shipping. I'm a bit impatient. >.< What do ya think?

You're on an AMD platform, those are triple channel memory kits, which will cause your motherboard to default to single channel as you would not have matched pairs.

This is what i would go with:

Or, more but lower cas latencies:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231303 <-- Excellent value for money with the $10 off coupon code listed on the product page.

Oh alright. Those are in my price range too. So I don't want sticks with tripple channel memory?

You want to stick with either two, or four DIMMs on an AM3 motherboard, as that will allow you to run in dual channel mode. Three DIMMs will default it to single channel mode.
