Dead Island or wait for Rage?

So what do you guys think, Ive played Dead Island and it is really sweet however Rage is shaping up to be pretty awesome looking as well. Im only going to get one or the other but im going back and forth between which one I want to get.

I like Dead Islands multiplayer and Rage appears not to have any sort of co-op capabilities which is a big drawback so Im very conflicted... help me out here :D
 
I was going to get dead island because the trailer intrigued me..... Im waiting to see how Rage scores... Ive been waiting for that one for a while... Id say wait until the review comes out tomorrow! Hopefully its better then Gears of war 3

Dead Island is fun, but I fund it really lacks in any sort of captivating story.

Rage going to be another 3 disc game when it comes to the 360... and it's been in production for quite some time. iD Software and Bethesda... Mmm.
Borderlands-esque dune buggy driving and Fallout-esque artwork.
 
Rage sounds like more of a replay-worthy game. Dead Island looks great, but for some reason, I think I'd be annoyed by it.
 
too many aomby games, i'd go rage and never look back, the graphics look amaizing, and for a 3 disc game being developed over many years, premiered at E3 in like 07 i believe, it had better be good, if it's another duke nukem, which they're already making the sequal, then many and i will be po'd, but since it's coming from id and bathesda i can't see it being bad at all, and also don't forget about skyrim.
 
mass if your into a plot then dont get rage... if you like graphics and violence then get it... Im personally going to pass. Have a good day!
 
Rage got some pretty shotty reviews, everyone says it looks pretty and is fairly fun but the story got trashed and I guess the ending is totally worthless too. There is not much of a strong story in Dead Island but there is so much stuff to do in terms of side missions that it didnt really matter that much to me when I played it, it was fun to just run around grab whatever I could find and start obliterating zombies!

Im going to go with Dead Island and leave Rage as a rent it option, the reviews really bashed it.
