Dead Motherboard?

A friends computer got shocked by lightning through the ethernet line is what they told me-now power switch wont work and system doesn't display anything -but when plugged in case fan and processor fan are both running-hard drive is still workable--slaved it to my system to check it. Would it be best to try and find the same motherboard and processor and just replace them?- It is a HP pavilion with a AMD 9150 phenom and an Ecs mcp61pm-hm motherboard. Also tested psu-that tested ok.
 
As you are telling that its fan and hard disk is running . Its mean you need to check the processor or Ram . After checking you may start your computer, Hope that your windows will start with out any problem . Thanks
