my mouse on my HP computer stopped working randomly. i unplugged it, replugged it back in, bought another one...nothing worked. i restored the drives and that didnt do anything. any suggestions would help. im lost. could it be the mouse driver??

is your mouse port ps2, if u bought a new mouse and it's not working the port is dead..but then again you have usb like ADE said
