ceewi1 VIP Member Apr 15, 2007 #2 If it's actually a dead pixel, you're out of luck - there's nothing that can be done. If it's just a stuck pixel, there are some ideas here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stuck_Pixel#Fixing_stuck_pixels. Rubbing it with a cloth can indeed help.

I INTELCRAZY banned Apr 15, 2007 #5 I have a dead pixel on the lower corner of my screen and it can barely be seen. I would send it back, I tried massaging this one out with no luck.

Click to expand... Most companies tell you that the monitor has to have 8 or more dead pixels to qualify for a return.
