dead screen

well my fan was grinding when i booted up (because of bearings) so i got a replacement fan from XFX. I also just got my a replacement power supply. So it started and i got no screen. The fan turns spins but no screen. Any suggestions ?

Are you sure you seated the card good, if so try your old P/S to make sure it not the new one.

yeah i pulled it in and out a few times to make sure. Its the same P/s they just fixed it .... thats the second smart power 2.0 450w ive gone threw its a crappy p/s.

hmm it might not just be a video issue i just noticed that the mobo doesnt beap when starting up like it use to. any suggestions ?

what is the mobo, does it have a little light somewhere on it?

Try nudging the video card in firmer than necessary, but not too much that it breaks it or damages it. My sisters comp has a similar issue, and all i have to do is push in the card a little more because the slot is a little more loose than it should be.

Its an A8n-sli premium, it does have a light and its on but no motherboard beep, just a blank screen with the fans on.
