Dead USB Thumbdrive fix?

So I had this Corsair Voyager 8GB for about a year now and interestingly... it just stopped working after I rebooted my computer.


So it was working fine and while doing a routine rebooting of my computer, Windows 7 does not recognize the drive at all. I've tried it on other computers as well and it does not recognize it as well.


Any way of recovering the things in the drive?
 
Since it is dead you could reopen it and try to see if the solder joints came undone. Reading around that seems to be the most common issue.
