1 year old Phenom II x4 940 + $89 cash

for

Brand New Phenom II X6 2.8GHZ (6-Core)

Should I do it?

If you really feel the need for that many cores, and have the 90 bucks to spill out, why not? Your current cpu is more than capable with today's standards, but like a lot of people on this site maybe you're a tech freak lol. Want the cores, got the cash? Go for it.
 
your friend wants exactly $89?!?!? is he an infomercial?
...fyi phenom x6 isnt out yet, and therefore there is no clue to its performance
 
Well since they are out on the 27th and I know what the prices are in CAD $, I was more wondering if 100 is a fair price to deduct?

He is valuing my 940 at $100 used and thats more what I wanna see if you guys think is fair!
