Yes, that is what Daemon Tools is for.

But if you're using Windows 8 or higher you can just mount ISO files natively in Windows.

WinCDEmu is also a good tool for that stuff, it mounts some of the stuff Windows can´t, although the paid version of Daemon Tools supports some other extensions that are a bit rare.

Can you please explain the process of opening an iso file in deamon tools ultra i can only mount it i am uing windows 10

If it's mounted, it's seen by Windows as a normal DVD. Hold Start and press "E", then you can see all your drives.
Or you can open it directly with something 7zip, as if it were a zip-file.

With Windows 8.1 you just double click. On Daemon Tools you open it, click the icon with a disk and a green "+", then search for the .iso and double click. I think you can also just right click and mount.
