Debating on a new build, please advise.

i said this in the other thread, see if you have a friend near a microcenter who could pick the stuff up for you, get a 2500k and a like 160 buck mobo for the same price as that!!!

Alright, made some changes....

CPU Link: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115072

Mobo Link: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157270

Memory Link: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820178382

Total: $354.30 with shipping.

Only things changed from here and my last post are different mobo for Z chipset, still lower end, and 1600 memory since the last board only supported up to 1333 this one supports faster memory.

Thanks for the advice Perkomate, it has been a while since I was shopping around. After I started reading your post I remembered I had read it elsewhere. Either way, thanks again.

Think this system could be the one, I will purchase a different, none stock, heatsink/fan later for overclocking. I would like one of the H series water coolers but last time I checked only the H100 was still on Newegg @ $100. :(

@jonnyp11, I could visit a micro center if I traveled North, East, or West. I live in Southern Indiana and what I drive daily gets on average 18MPG highway, 12-14 in the city. For me to travel the distance I would have to go it would cost me several hundred dollars in gas. I was on empty the other day, put $50 in @ $4.08 for 87 grade, I got less than 3/4 of a tank, more around 5/8's. Gas prices suck. :(
