I'm probably going to end up putting Linux on here, but i just need to do some compatibility research first to see if there are any issues. I really dont want to spend $100+ for an operating system.

Looks ok. Not going to be anything crazy, but is a decent system. You still need a hard drive among other things.

I would swap out that cpu for this one for an extra 12$ or whatever the diff is.
