decided at long last

the 7600 is a nice card. i have one and it plays ut2004 and bf2 very well. i play on 1280x1024 on pretty high settings
 
got the card now i want to know is if i get another one and sli them together will it make it into 512mb how will it work

That was a really stupid choice, the 7600GS is better then the x1650PRO, by far. So the 7600GT would be MUCH better.

And with ATI cards, it's called crossfire. Do you have a crossfire supported motherboard?

(Also, you have it listed as PCI-X in your sig, but its PCI-E ;))

It splits the video processing between both GPU's, which can make games perform around 80% better (more or less, depending on the game). It doesn't combine the VRAM, so you still only have 256MB.

Do you have an SLI motherboard?
