Decided

I bought an a1250n
or to make it simpler
hp pavillion amd athlon 3800+ 64 X2
Is there anything wrong with it? Im going to change the graphics card. how is the motherboard? Have I made a mistake?

For people who dont memorize the stats of HP systems, look here

As forR the parts
- Nobody knows what the motherboard is .. prolly a modified ASUS or MSI
- The chipset is half-decent, XPress200 which should have a PCIx16 slot free however since this is an OEM board we have no idea what the single available PCIE slot really is (although i hope its a PCIEx16 slot)
- What are you using the machine for? How much did you pay?

i cant remember the exact price at the end but with everything (moniter 19inch, speaker, subwoofer, prineter/scanner) its like 1100-1300 but the computer is 900 with tax i think. the mobo is msi is it good?

Well its not a standard off-the-shelf-MSI board but rather, they took a baseline MSI board, strip down a few features and replace the BIOS with a custom one that doesnt allow for tinkering .. for $900 you probably could have done better yourself but considering it is an OEM machine, its pretty good.
