Which one has more speed? Speed is all I care about. The i7 m620 vs the i5-3337U. Also exclude energy efficency from your decision. I just want to know which laptop is faster. Factor in the difference in GPU since the i7 uses an old nVidia nvs 2100 vs the newer Intel HD 4000.

Thanks for helping! Please responds quickly this is urgent.

What are you doing with the gpu? The nvs has a different purpose to the intel HD 4000. The intel HD 4000 in the i5 I believe is equivalent to a Nvidia 610m GT.

So I looked them up in the intel site and I think the person who did the ebay one is unsure of his cpu, there is no m620, there is a 620M but the Ghz do not match. Saying that is correct cpu then the i7 is more powerful as a cpu but the i5 has better graphical processing. In my experience running openshot for video editing I would go for the more powerful cpu.

I would definitely go for the i7 with the NVIDIA card if you want to edit video. If the software you are using supports CUDA and so does the NVIDIA GPU in the laptop, that will help you out even more, but for editing video you want the most powerful CPU you can get.

I edit video a lot now with my i5 2500K in my desktop. It's great at what it does but it'd be good to have an i7. ;)
