ok i have mozilla firefox and mozzila thunderbird and i can't get thunderbird to work off my netscape email account so i have decided just to make netscape email my default email client but i can't figure out how to

any help would be greatly apprciated

You have to make sure first that your Netscape email account is POP/SMTP enabled or else you won't be able to use any mail client. Persoanlly I use the MS Outlook, it's nice and good. I mainly use it becuase I synchronize my Phone Pocket PC data with it, contacts, Calendar, everything.

I used to use the mail client of Netscape years ago and I think it's a lot different now. However, steps for configuring the mail client are simple, you create an account and specify it's type (POP, IMAP, HTTP, etc), you specify the username of your account, password, incoming mail server (POP Server name, like pop.netscape.net for example), outgoing mail server (SMTP Server name, like smtp.netscape.net for example), and then you complete other small setting like keeping the messages on server or not, and whether the server requires authentication, and sometime SMTP server require authentication too.

Then you test the account sending and receiving, and everything goes fine.

If you need any more help, please ask, I will try to help as much as I can, although I am not using the Netscape mail client anymore, they all have the same concept.

Thanks,
