ive already tried that before, i found a site a long time ago where u can find the default password to get into your router settings but lost it, i tried admin for both username and password
Doing a hard reset on the router will reset the default password in case someone may have changed it. Press the reset button on the back of the router for 10 seconds.
Try Google or Wikipedia, type your router manufacturor and model followed by the word "password" into the search box and you should be able to find it.
Then again i seen a comment maybe worth asking. said don't use the disk. (if ya did). the dafault was password was 'admin'. unless it was changed. should have been.
the standard reset is for most unplug, hold the reset button front or back or what ever. might want to try holding in longer.
I do too. i have had problems in the past with other manufactures but did this way and worked. just an idea.
im guessing it might have been a 3com office. but for most your right.
