hey
is there any way to define the audio jacks on my mother board as i wish
for example
if want 2 green jacks insted of one by replacing one of the other 5 jacks
i have an asaus p5b motherboard
windows vista

I don't see what your wanting to do....

if you replace the colour, it won't do anything on the system,

If you want 2 x green jacks, get a headphone splitter

Get a good quality splitter, or get a better sound card :P

No problems, Glad i could help.

If you have any more question or need any more help with computers, create a new thread.

Cheers for now,

If that is what you want to do, then, no, you can't
Actually, that's not entirely true. I could set my line in as an output for 5.1 surround, I think could customize my outputs pretty much any way I wanted (and I'm using some Realtek onboard), even though this may not be exactly what the OP is after I'm sure that there are drivers/software that allow you to do this.

Yeah, I have the ep45-ds3r with onboard HD audio. The Audio manager that comes with the gigabyte cd lets me set my jacks as whatever I want. Its pretty cool, cause it also detects when I plug lines in. From there I click on the tiny bubble saying alerting me that I just plugged my headphones into my front greenjack, or I open the manager, and I can change the center/sub jack to be the side jack, or the back, or any of the options.

Very convenient feature I think.
