Defragmentation software

Diskeeper

I use Diskeeper - made by Executive Software. It has a built-in "set it and forget it" option so that you can schedule your defrags during the off hours.

Thats an intresting tool, if you want one of the best defraggers
(Can you guys guess what coming next???)
Yes that right System Mechanic!!!!! from www.iolo.com, the defrag can take ages but it's still very good and it may my computer speed up by about 75-96%

this post is enclosed in a thought bubble

??? It must be impossible to get a 100% defragmented file sys, i mean the odds of the files forming this kind of structure are so small they would be the same as the fragments ordering themselves perfectly just by chance. Surley statistically you could get past 50% on a large files system???

With the presence of music and movie files, the chance of having a 50% defragment is even weaker.

The point I'am making is that using SM's defragmentator I noticed a real increase in my computer speed (I guessed the whole 75-96% thing)

I understood what you were saying, which is why I made the joke about how fragmented the drive must have been. Defragging does increase your computers loading speed but not by a huge margin.

I dunno about that, Think AOL or Netscape...

I used AOL like 5 years ago, it wasn't that bad, I guess they've changed.
I've heard some horror stories about canceling AOL service though. :P
