Defragmenting HDD

it depends on how badly your hard drive is fragmented, its not something you can really put into figures unless you're gonna perform and analysis of the hard drive performance.
its a good idea to do it regularly though
 
well ya,

if you have some blue green red and white ALL over the place, it will run slow, takes longer to find what you want

then when ......

just defragment it
