Delay During Shutdown

i've reciently been encountering a problem while i'm shutting down my computer. I click Start => Turn Off My Computer, but the options to Restart, Shutdown or Logoff take at least 2mins to pop up.

i'm having a little trouble solving this and i'm not quite sure now if it's a problem with the installation of the operating system or if it's a hardware problem which is causing my pc to slow down during certain operations.

Maybe your system memory is full. Try to Disable all of your autorun applications in system toolbar and restart your computer. If the problem is still there check if there's a virus intrude into your system.

umm ok....do you think increasing the cash memory would make a difference?

Yes. but first try my advice, if my advice will not work try to increase the cash memory.
