I have a Dell Dimensions 1100. Long story short I deleted all partitions in the hard drive and re-installed the operating system disk that came with the computer (windows xp). Windows loaded OK but it is not allowing me to change some of my settings. For example the color settings or resolution settings. There is not drop down menu for more options to select from. I have re-installed thinking I might have missed something and also tried to go back and selected repair. So far nothing is working. For some reason I also can not get it set up now to hook up to the internet. Any suggestions on what I can do?
