Deleting bloatware/crapware... help

Hey guys...

My computer has become massively slow and so I wanted to delete all the bloatware on it, but I'm afraid of deleting things I need because I don't know what is considered bloatware and what isn't. I just need a definitive list, and I'm hoping someone on here has one because I can't find one on the internet. Please do not tell me to use any decrap programs, I want to delete everything by myself and not download any sketchy software.

For reference, my computer is a Toshiba Satellite something (the thin gold one) and it has Windows 10 Home on it. 6th gen i5 processor.

Thanks for the help.

I'm afraid the list is massive and nobody, in spite of what the "experts" on here will tell you, will know all the bloatware. I use Ccleaner although when I buy a new computer the first thing I do is a clean install of windows 10. that takes care of the manufacturer's bloat. Then I use Ccleaner to get rid of the Windows 10 bloat. My Windows 10 bloat will not be the same as your Windows 10 bloat. You also have to realise that when you delete something it isn't actually fully deleted until it is overwritten by something else. Even then not all of it goes. The bits left behind build up over a period of time. Computers are pretty stupid beasts and can only work in ones and zeros. This means that effectively all the spurious ones and zeros left on your computer after deletion has to be checked by the computer so that it can ascertain whether that particular one or zero is relevant. This does happen very fast so initially you wont notice it. But after a period of time the wait time for you, whilst Mr Stupidcomputer checks, can become significant. One of the other things I do is I reinstall my computers every six months or so. Backup my personal files, only my personal files, and then clean install Windows, get rid of the MS bloat, reinstall my programs and then copy back my desktop, documents and pictures folders. A lot of work? Yes but I think it's worth it.

I hate to tell you, but PCdecrapifier may be a start. It's not sketchy. Also run Autoruns and look at all the start up crap you have. Don't disable or delete anything in Autoruns but use Revo Uninstaller and uninstall the offending program. Use Ccleaner and system Ninja. Don't use Ccleaner's registry cleaner. You may end up with problems if you do.

By the time the OP has used all that stuff, a lot of which will be putting it's own junk on her computer, her eyes will look your avatar.

I think you're full of shit buddy. I can vouch for all those programs. What do you want them to do? Reinstall the whole damn OS?
