Deleting ReadBoost cache on Flash drive...

Why do I need permissions to delete a ReadyBoost Cache? I want the damn thing off my drive b/c it takes up 1.28Gb.... Instead of Safe Mode is there a way around this? I am quite pissed off, I am and always have been the sole user and admin of this computer and I can't delete something off my flash drive? UGH!:mad::mad::mad:

Thanks

really???? i can delete mine easily. but. have you tried disabling readyboost on your drive and have you tried to reset the permissions by right clicking and going to properties and security?

There is no security.... That's only on the hard disks. When is Microsoft gonna let me have my PC?

Finally it's gone.... Disabling it automatically deletes the cache? How retarded is that? I can't even begin to describe how stupid or idiotic that is....

well, yeah i just found that out. but i guess it is nice since you dont want to accedentaly delete it since it is used by the system
