Hi all.

My Registry Cleaner, (RegVac) finds the same File every day. HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTrpspalib.RpClientGatewayCampainWindow\CurVer\\:@

I am experiencing Computer lockup on a daily occurrance and am wondering if i should delete this File from my Registry. Unfortunately i don't know what this file is and if its safe to delete.

Any advice would be appreciated.

No, i don't use Mcafee. However, this problem started when my trial version of Norton expired and i was without antivirus software for a few days. I have since removed Norton using their un-install program and now have AVG Antivirus and RegVac software. Both programs have found and corrected many faults and the Computer isn't locking up as regular as it was, but something still isn't quite right. I just move the Mouse and it freezes and needs to be powered down and rebooted. CTRL ALT DELETE doesn't work.

You could always export that particular key, say to the desktop using "Regedit" before deleting it and see if it makes a difference. If it's needed then click on it to import it back in again.
You may well have picked up something while you were without AV so may pay to read the sticky in the security section of the forum and post the logs.

Thats sounds like a great idea TFT. I will give that ago and let you know if it all goes Pear shaped on her in doors laptop.
