deleting trash

Hey guys
i'm new to here so bare with me. if i delete alot of trash from my pc like maybe acouple of porn sites and i delet everything. and a virus pops up and i take it to get removed, will the tech be able to see all the sites i went on. trying to keep from wife.

You should be able to remove the virus from your computer by yourself without paying the tech a bunch of money.

But let's say that I took it to a tech would he be to see where I've been even after deleting all my sites

you can make it very unapparent were you have been by deleting your temp internet files, disabling the browser from storing recently viewed websites, disabling windows from showing recently opened documents, maybe even moving all your "personal" files to a folder then setting that folder as Hidden and then tell Windows to not show the hidden files/folders in that folder. Even deleting the files does not actually erase them from your hard drive though, it just removes the ability of windows to easily find those files and sets that space as space available for new files. A compotent tech can still use their knowledge and a application to find deleted files though. If there is personal stuff that you really dont want the tech to see I would do some Google searches on how to best hide/delete that stuff. Even before that though I would do some searches on how to do basic stuff on your computer like removing virus' though.

A tech REALLY tried to - they could (it would take time) but to an average computer user; they wouldn't know how.
It would require special software and a bit of digging to get that information if you completely deleted your history and temp internet files.

It is much better if you will no longer access porn sites. Your wife will still discover it anyway because it is already your habit. Change it.
