I ordered a laptop and it says that it will be coming this monday the 29th. I am wondering do they require a signature to deliver? I hope not becuase I am not sure that anyone at my house will be home. If that is the case do you think that they will accept a note that is signed instead. I would just leave it on the door so they would see it. Oh if it matters UPS is delivering. Thanks

you want them to make you sign. otherwise they will leave it at your door step so someone can take it. you can always go to their hub and pick it up. usually they try 3 business days in a row to deliver until you are forced to pick it up.

Well I live pretty much in the middle of nowhere and 1200 feet off a dead end road where no one can see my house so I'm not to worried about anyone taking it. Does that mean they don't require a signature?

i know when i got packages via fedex, they needed to be signed for, but i got a signature confirmation thiingy letting them know that its ok to leave packages requiring a signature.

depends if you home is a house or a apartment. i dont know but when ups or fedex asked to sign and i'm not home. either that or someone else sign for me or a security signs for it and it is placed in the office.

I live in the woods with my family lol down a 2 mile dead end road. My driveway is an aditional 1200 feet of the ded end road so no1 is around to sign for me when we are not home. Thanks though for the info

usually a family member can sign.. or if no one is home.. they might take it n delive it again the next day.. or u can pick it up

It depends on the shippers preferance(not the service, all services will do signatures, IF the person who sent it tell them too)

i saw a package today at the recycling center that was from fedex, and on the package it said something like this: Courrier, signature required even if signature is on file. So there are differnt ways for signature confirmation.

u can leave a message or call them up. leave a message for delivery on a certain date or call them up to HOLD the item and pick it up later.
