I am looking at the dell days of deal XPS 8300.

It's $958+tax

Mainly it has i7-2600, HD6670, 8GB ram, 1TB HD, bluray drive with DVD-RW, 23in IPS 1080p monitor, full details as shown below:

Is it a good deal??

you are better off building one. For 950+ USD you could get some of the best parts out there.

everyone here will say to build, but since you can build a better looking version of that with better quality parts for closer to 800 at most then i think there is a reason for that.

I think all of you missed the fact that it has a 23in IPS monitor included already in the price.

The desktop itself is 799 only

still. The stats on that computer only warrants a price of maybe 650, if you are lucky.

along with unreliable warranties and bad quality parts too.

actually i just recreated it, although i was still using better brands and all, but could only get all this stuff for about 915.
