Hey guys, I've been using this Dell Dimension E310 for a bit now. I've recently started getting into this online MMO game World of Warcraft. Although, in order for me to play that game, I have to put my graphics to all the way low. I'm planning on upgrading this "badboy" to play WoW to its highest graphics.

So....
~ Do I have a chance with this computer to run the game on max graphics, with a high frame rate?
~ Would I be better off to buy another computer?

Below you'll see my dxdiag, and WoW game specs:

Code:

Recommended: 3D graphics processor with Vertex and Pixel Shader capability with 128 MB VRAM Such as an ATI Radeon X1600 or NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GT class card or better

I'm not sure which card to buy. I'm wondering if someone can link me to the best possible card that would operate with my PC. Also, would I need more RAM to increase the frame rate in the game?

Unfortunately, your motherboard only has two PCI and one PCI-E 1x slots.

Card selection is limited, and you'll probably need a power supply upgrade as well.

One of these:

Or one of these:

And one of these:

You should have at least 1Gig of RAM, but 2GIgs would be better.

I'm really looking for a card that would make a noticeably "dramatic" difference from the card I have right now. I'm using NVIDIA GeForce 6200 at the moment, the frame rate is crap, the graphics are still bad with the card. Have to play on low graphics for higher FPS.

So would any of those be worth it for what I'm expecting?

I play wow with a Compaq presario single core 2.9GHz processor 1.2GB of ram and this card
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814133245
Frame rate is great and all settings max. Only in huge open areas does it drag SLIGHTLY but wow is a very easy game to play i play it at school on my HP mini 101 netbook. 1gb ram and intel atom 1.6GHz processor.
even though it says 300w minimum power supply i am running it on stock 250 and it works fine.
