I've a Dell 9300 laptop with the following specs:

-2.13Ghz Pentium M 770 processor @533Mhz FSB
-256MB Nvidia Ge-Force Go 6800 Graphics
-100GB ATA 5400 Rpm H\Drive
-2GB DDR2 Ram @533Mhz
-UXGA 1920X1200 Res

Just wondering If any have performed a benchmark with 3D Mark 2003??
with same\similar specs with a 9300. I got a score of "8123"...... :)

Ya, i have a simalarly spec'd one with lower processor and ram, but still an I9300 and it scores in the low 4000's on 3dmark05

i wanted to get the 9300 but now dell increased their prices a tad bit which is out of my price range. im hoping the ati 200m can pull atleast a 5000 in 3dmark01. atleast its got the turion

whats with you and laptops? you have quite a few of them don't u? ever think about getting a desktop? LOL

anyway, in 01 no doubt it will pull 5000.

i'm a laptop enthusiast. what do you expect? i'm also in school right now so a desktop is pretty useless for me. this summer i'll probably build another new desktop for myself once i get a new co-op.

i was thinking of getting that one but it was just to expensive, plus its got a mamoth screen but that is the ultimate of laptops well done my laptop gets 5000 in 3d mark 03

dang that is really good. try running 3dmark05. i get around 13,000 on 3dmark01 but only 3000 in 3dmark05

That's a very good score on 3Dmark01. I haven't ran It as yet but I did run 3Dmark05 and was a little dissapointed to get only 2800 on my 9300.
Just wondering, what specs are you runnung?

True with the "Turion" being an AMD "64" bit processor. However as the
majority of today's applications are 32 bit, you won't get the Turion's X64
benefits unless you run 64 bit applications. See the Turion Is backwards
compatible and when you run 32 bit applications, the application has no Idea that It's running on an X64 processor. Never-the-less, very good choice as the future "Is" X64". Well done :)

Well I just ran 3DMark 2001 and I'm stunned!! "18193". To be honest, I
would have been happy with around 14000. Oh well can't complain I guess. :)

01 is more CPU bound then the newer versions, thats why.

also, make sure that u don't have applications in the backround, and i can't remember what i had it all at when i ran it.

also, i use the newest laptopvideo2go.com drivers for it.

Ye, I didn't have any applications running In the background. What comparable difference In performance gain do the "laptopvideo2go.com" drivers enhance? Worth Installing on my 256Mb Nvidia Ge-Force Go 6800 card?
