Is latitude better than the inspiron notebooks? Im just curious cause everytime i get a brochure in the mail the latitude is never in there i was maybe thinking they are discontinued are they?

also i will probably be getting the xps m140 and i was wondering if the intergrated video card is any good cause it is the only one i can choose. its a Bullet Intel Media Accelerator 900. is intergrated good or bad?

yea thats pretty bad dude if ur gonna game, that thing blows, if ur going to type up a word doc for college, its sick, dope, rad, it OWNS.

well there is really no choice i have to get that one cause it is the only one and i wont be doing any gaming so will it still make a difference?

What are you going to be using this for? Because if your just doing basic stuff you dont need to spend that much on one.

burning dvds/cds, and i am also going to be taking a lot of computer classes at college so i figured i should get the best now rather than later. internet, and school work, i maybe will play some games but i dont know yet. what inspiron would you suggest me getting that is comparable to the specs of the xps

The graphics card is awful, not that I have one myself, but I have seen it at Best Buy and it was not up to par with something such as the GeForce. It doesn't make much sense to make the XPS 140 a 'gaming' laptop and to give it such a horrible video card, but I guess they would just rather you spend the extra money for a XPS 170 instead.

Whoa, that's pretty pricey for a something like that. I'd check out the Asus W3V, carbon fiber chasis with a brushed aluminum lid, a whole lot of style and a dedicated x600, excellent for a 14" widescreen for less.

how good is asus w3v compared to the dell xps. What site will be the cheapest for all the specs on the xps i listed? also what is the quality like with the asus?

Most people here a spoon fed with Dells here in the USA. As for Asus, some people don't know that Asus has been a long time ODM (original design manufacturer) maker of laptops for the likes of Sony and Apple for quite some time now. So if you compared a Sony and an HP or Dell, you'll see the difference in build quality and screen quality. You'd imagine the effort they'd put into their own products- Asus their own line of notebooks. With use of carbon fiber and brushed aluminum in their chassis, they're definitely major head turners. Have you see Acer's Ferrari Line? Well the Lamborghini line from Asus is on its way, and it's to drool over...
On a side note, did you know that Asus was also the manufacturer of the PS2?

so what website can i order one from? for the least price possible?
Well you can check my profile, we've got plenty of pics on our site, and I'm pretty sure we're cheaper than other resellers.

actually they are the same price as you cause i get a $100.00 gift card and with the xps there is 1gb of ram and a 100gb hard drive compared to 512mb ram and 60gb hard drive also do you give a 3 year warranty the covers everything except fire and theft? cause the xps has that warranty.

Oh, I'm sorry, didnt see that Warranty thing. Were you planning on any fires? The unit comes with 1 year global warranty. Upgradable to 3 years for $95. If you want a custom model there's the Z63A, same as the W3V minus the Brushed Aluminum lid and x600 card, still comes with Carbon Fiber chassis.
