dell latitude d610 wirless issue

- seems i might off lost my wireless

after searching the net
- have windows xp professinonal version 2002 service pack 3
under device manager and under network adapters
it has wan miniport (ipx) and it says( this device is not working properly because windows canot load the drivers required for this device (code 31)

after searching the net looks like i should have
dell wirless or intel (R) pro/wirless

thoughtys anyone for i to get my wirless up and running again

adding

tried in safe mode..seemed like it worked and than lost connection...but without safemode when connected to wireless the laptop freezes...

thoughts anyone..possible a driver issue...
