dell lcd vs aoc lcd

hey everyone, happy new year to all...............

I wanna change my crt moniter for a lcd moniter, which is first on my list of New Years Resolutions, a 17 inch also, but was wondering which would be better: dell lcd's are very good but a little too expensive for me, on the other hand there is AOC lcd's which are less priced. I waz wondering since the AOC ones are less priced, are they the same as dell in terms of quality and durability. thankz in advance!!

I love my Dell LCDs and I did not think they were expensive. I do not know about AOC but you need to make sure you are comparing apples to apples and that all the specs are equal as well as warranty.

I purchased a Dell last year and this year had a problem. I called them up and they shipped me a replacement and picked up the defective one. I think that was pretty good service.
