You wont notice a difference in text between the two cards, and I highly doubt you would notice the difference in graphics. I've used several ATI and nVidia cards, and I can say I never noticed a difference, even on my 22" LCD using a DVI cable.

cyp - interestinmg.

yeah, i love my 17 inch widescreen

i can not think of abetter 17 inch on the mnarket for laoptops by dell!!!

.

i also have myt dpi at about 115%

anmd max res.

shame i can gett smoo\ther pixels / graphics on some images / ..etc
I think you just need to check the settings on your card. Go into the Catalyst Control Center and make sure you check the resolution. I use 1920x1200. My images look incredible on my laptop.

You know what, now that I'm thinking of it, I had the same problem when I was posting images on the web, but I can't remember exactly what setting I changed. Off the top my head, I pretty sure it was the resolution. The default settings where not optimum.
I'll think on this a bit.
Hang on to this laptop, you aren't gonna get a better screen image.

I think it was the DPI, that I changed. I liked 105% / 101 DPI

Are you talking about graphics in games, or quality looking images, photos, text, etc? If your not talking about gaming, then theres barely a difference even between the cheapest x1300 and the most expensive 7900GS, they will make everything look almost identical.
