Dell opinions...

I definately agree that the laptops are fairly good. I really haven't had a lot of difficulties with them. The only systems I have ever heard are horrible and I myself have also found them bad are the desktops. And yes I do agree the XPS systems are really nice, but way overpriced!

yeah many people have problems... but whenever its a dell problem then it adds into the anti dell argument. if all other pc's were made by a single brand then that brand would get badmouthed so much.

my grandparents have a dell - i'm on it now as i type.

I don't believe there are any problems.

Yeah, theres a dell desktop upstairs, and one right next to me (6 working computers total, one old gateway in a sideroom somewhere ) . Both about 3 or 4 years old and the only thing we've had to do is add a bit of memory. I still like Dell <3

The motherboard cracked and the sound card no longer works? That can happen with any laptop, gj.

We have 2 dell laptops in the family, and the only problem we've had with them is when a key from the keyboard popped off and broke. Olawd.

Hah that happened to a friend of mines Acer when he brought it to Techcenter. That was the day he got it. I laughed.
