Dell Optiplex bio problem

Hi there, ive had an ongoing issue with the bios in a Dell Optiplex gx270 I recently bought second hand. Basically I have tried everything imaginable to boot into it and nothing works, thought id post on here for some advice before I (reluctantly) send it back.

Things I have tried:

Taking out Cmos battery.

Resetting jumpers.

Hooking up a ps2 keyboard and trying to login from that (didnt work).

Trying all sorts of keyboard combinations all with no effect.

Not really sure what else I can do at this point, but any suggestions are much appreciated! Some additional info: at the initial startup screen it asks for F2 to log into bios. After pressing F2 it then sayings 'loading bios' but once the startup bar has reached its end, it immediately zips through the bios and does not load into it as it should do.

Thanks!

Do you have any extra DDR memory laying around you could try in it? I'd give that a try. Otherwise it sounds like a faulty CMOS/BIOS. I'd send it back and replace it.

It does sound like your BIOS is borked, but still...
