Dell XPS 400... I have a price quote, looking for opinions on whether it is a deal?

In an interesting turn of events, I called Dell and bitched about their website not clearly stating that the X600 is not a true 256mb card. After about 5 or 6 reps and several phone calls, and on the verge of returning my system, a dell representative offered to send me the nVidia 6800 256mb Geforce for FREE!! How sweet is that... so it is in the mail!! So, ended up being a really good deal.

System works great. Only thing that I forgot to think about was getting my PATA HD into the SATA based system. I see there are PCI cards you can buy to allow backwards compatability, but thinking to just pick up a new SATA hard drive.

The motherboard doesnt have IDE ports? Are you sure? I would look in your case to see.

It does have an ide port on the motherboard, but it is completely occupied by the DVD-ROM/DVD RW... I guess my other option would be is to buy an ATA controller card.
