Which would you choose?

AMD Phenom II X6 1035T
ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB
6GB Dual Channel DDR3 SDRAM 1333MHz
1TB - 7200RPM

$829

AMD Athlon II X4 630
ATI Radeon HD 5870 1GB
4GB Dual Channel DDR3 SDRAM 1333MHz
500GB - 7200RPM

$879


According to overclock, they rank the 5770 #27 and the 5870 #8 overall. How much of a difference should I expect between the AMD (2.6 x6 vs 2.8 x4) processors?

Pro's (I guess) liquid cooled, similar/same specs.

Con's (to me) dislike the cases, but it's not all that important. Customer service with Dell has been good to me in my experience. What kind of CS can I expect from these brands?


I also live in FL, with high heat, and it vary's from 75-78 inside. Should I consider fans over liquid cooling or vice versa?



Any help, suggestions or other computers I should look at in this price range? This is the best I've been able to find.

5870 >>> 5770

6 core won't have much benefit unless you do those video editing.

Actually, it is best to get Phenom II x4 955 + 5850
