Dell XPS 8100 - i5 650 or i5 750 processor

hi, this is my first ever post on this forum

i am going to buy a Dell XPS 8100 online at Dell.co.uk tomorrow

the computer comes with either a i5 650 or i5 750 processor (both at the same price) and im not sure which to choose.
The 650 has hyperthreading and a higher clock speed but the 750 is a quad core.

i am intending on using the computer for music and gaming mainly
 
The 750 is better because its a quad core where-as the 650 is a dual core. I have the 750 and i recommend it. :)
