Dell

I also agree they are crap, but it really depends are your needs. If your using your computer for searching the internet, e-mail, school work, and your on a like an tight budget. Then dells are perfect but if your gaming or big on multitasking and doing things yourself, then dell isnt the way to go.

I know somebody will say they are hard to upgrade, this is partly true. I had a dell and I upgraded the PSU, GPU, RAM, and soundcard. The motherboard, cpu, and case are hard to upgrade.

Dell are great for business stuff... For home, I rather to build on my own and some private only, haha... Dell gave too much crap like some other stuff of software of 30-60 days of free trial and you have to uninstall it... I agreed with others also about overclock...

You cant put such a broad statement out that "all Dell's suck"

Have you experienced them all?
Does everbody use them for the same use you do?

I could call Ku-Sama a retard cause he made a stupid post 4 weeks ago...

Lets all be vague in all our posts, it makes the board a better places for information.
I dont like dogs cause they pee...

Dell's really aren't too bad if you pay for the decent ones. I've worked with quite a few at the shop I used to work at... Their build quality is quite good and performace usally isn't bad. But if you purchase a very cheap machine, you get what you pay for!

Inside, espcially with the newer cases they have, things are next to impossible to upgrade. Many only have 1 IDE connection(2 drives) and 2 SATA connections(2 drives)

As for overclocking, as others said, I don't think the boards are even capable of doing so... I mean, they might be able to, but it's set so it only runs the speed of the processor...

Actually, I can. I've dealt with my friends dells, and they are SLOW pieces of trash. Their dells had better specs then my old gateway, and they downloaded a bunch of crap, so did I, my gateway was always, always faster. Their dells would always crap out on them, taking 40 minutes, one I recall, to just start up, then about 10 minutes to open internet explorer.

Dells have the most bloatware on them out of any other company. Aol trial this, antivirus trial that. Dells suck in my opinion and personal expirience.

Again, you telling me that someone's computer takes 40 min to boot and 10 mintutes to load a webpage.. ITS NOT THE COMPUTER, ITS THE USER!
NO computer made in the last 3 years should take more than 3 minutes to load, EVER! If it does, it needs to be cleaned.. Spyware, Adaware.

Then you try to expand your shotty argument by saying they have junk like AOL installed?? REMOVE IT!

Your argument is garbage. The overclocking idea made by OTHER users is valid.

There is your answer to the thread.
If you wish to overclock your pc, dont buy a dell. I currently have one which is a year old, and it could own a lot of the PC around Cf.com

Thank you for the responces. I am happy that someone actualy took the time to give me a reason as to why they are so bad rather than just saying they suck so thank you
