Desktop displayed horizontally O.o?

So, my friend told me that she knocked her keyboard and something happened to her monitor. She didn't tell me the details besides the fact that the desktop on the monitor was displayed horizontally instead of vertically. I'm going to check on it tomorrow to see how to get it fixed and this is the first time I've heard of this happening.

So, here's my question. Anybody have any ideas how to fix this or have done it before?

Go to display properties, settings, advanced, (and somewhere in here should be a rotation tool, where you can rotate the monitors 90ºs).
