Desktop Gaming PC

looks good to me. I would think you will be very happy with that setup.
the psu is overkill though, you'd be fine with something around 700 watt

A gtx 770 will run on a 600 watt power supply with no issues. But it has to be a good unit and not some cheap one.

Unless you plan on doing something specifically sound related, getting a dedicated sound card isn't worth it.

Right OK:

The 3770K is old. Get a 4790K if you NEED an i7. If this is purely for gaming, you will be fine with the i5 4690K instead.

Get a Z97 motherboard, look at Gigabyte, ASUS or MSI. Some of them now have Wi-Fi built in, so if you got one with Wi-Fi built in you wouldn't need that extra adapter.

If you need 16GB of RAM, get 2x8GB so that you can easily upgrade to 32GB if need be. Again, if this is just for gaming you can just get 8GB.

Also try to get 1866MHz RAM instead of 1600MHz since it is not much more or the same price.

Save some money and get the 250GB Samsung 840 EVO instead of the Pro because it is just as quick - see this thread: http://www.computerforum.com/229822-samsung-840-evo-basic-vs-samsung-840-pro.html

Don't bother with a sound card unless you have high-end speakers or headphones or you edit audio.

As John said, you can save more money by not getting the 1000W PSU. Look for 600W instead. The Corsair CX 600M will be fine, as would something like a TX650 V2.

And any money you save spend on the graphics card because it is the most important component of a gaming rig! You could easily afford to upgrade to a 780 or maybe even a 780 Ti if you make the changes I have recommended to save you money. :good:
