Desktop Gone Mad?

The second time today, I was using my PC listening to music. All of a sudden I hear the power to the hard drive cut off. As if the computer turned off the hard drive! I know the drive is healthy, its realitivly new. The secondary hard drive, stayed on, I heard it running. Once the hard drive clicked off, the PC reboot's in 2 seconds.

Is my computer going nuts?
 
Sounds like a possible power problem, or since you were using your sound card, could be a conflict... Maybe try updating some drivers and such? Change the soundcard slot if possible...
 
I have used my soundcard before, and never had a problem. If it continues, i will switch the PCI slot for the sound card.
