Ok first off I'm not very well educated in the area of computers, so go easy on me with terms.
I have a 2005 (dinosaur) Compaq desktop with Windows xp. It's never been hooked up to the Internet at all so I don't think there are viruses on it, and I only use it to play games on it. My problem is every time I start my computer up, a screen comes up that says: "We apologize for the inconvinance, but Windows did not start successfully." Each time I try any of the options (any of the safe modes, start windows normally, las known good configuration) the computer will load for a second or two and then freeze, in fact you can hear when it dose and dose not load.
Is this the end of the line for my computer?
